Srinagar records coldest night of season, MeT predicts further dip in temperature | KNO

Srinagar, December 03 (KNO) : Srinagar, the summer capital of the State Monday recorded the season's coldest night temperature at minus 2.8 degrees Celsius, officials said. Deputy Director Meteorological department (MeT), Mukhtar Ahmad informed KNO that Srinagar recorded season’s coldest night today while as the temperature in the upcoming days will go further down. "The night temperature in Srinagar was recorded minus 2.8 degree Celsius," Ahmad said, adding that the temperature at Leh was recorded minus 10.9 degrees Celsius followed by Kargil at minus 8.2. He informed that there is possibility of further dip in the temperature in upcoming days, saying that the temperature in view of dry spell will go further down. Ahmad added that the dry spell will continue till December 08.(KNO)
