Srinagar, December 13 (KNO) : Following two day long closure of Srinagar-Jammu highway, the authorities on Thursday evening allowed the stranded vehicles to move towards their destinations.
An official while talking to KNO said that the stranded vehicles who remained stuck on Srinagar-Jammu highway from the either sides have been allowed to ply towards their destinations.
However, he said that the traffic plan for tomorrow will be issued subjected to the weather conditions. Earlier, the Srinagar-Jammu highway remained closed for the vehicular movement from Wednesday following the slippery conditions of the road, triggered by the heavy snowfall in upper reaches especially in Southern Kashmir.
Officials said that the road has been cleared and only stranded vehicles have been allowed to ply.(KNO)
