Srinagar, December 13 (KNO) : Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has been witnessing jolts from last couple of days as some well known as well as lesser known faces continue to tender their resignations from the party for one reason or another.
After Haseeb A Drabu, Abid Ansari and Abbas Wani, another PDP leader and former IGP crime, Raja Aijaz Ali has tendered his resigned from the party today.
Aijaz told KNO that, “I have tendered my resignation from JK PDP as the party has failed the people of J&K on all fronts.” Aijaz said that anger towards party was visible in recently held Panchayat elections.
“PDP in three years of tenure discriminated whole Uri constituency,” he added. Aijaz fought elections in 2014 on PDP ticket and secured over 19000 votes against his nearest rival Mohammad Shafi Uri.*(KNO)
