Sopore, December 14 (KNO) : A shutdown was observed in Sopore and its adjoining areas on Friday to mourn the killing of two local militants in an encounter in Sopore on Thursday.
Reports said that a spontaneous shutdown was observed in parts of Sopore, Zaingeer belt to mourn the killing of two local militants who were identified as Owais Ahmed Bhat and Tahir Ahmed Dar.
According to KNO correspondent, all the shops, business establishments remained closed in the town while a thin movement of public and private transport was seen plying on the roads. Moreover, the mobile internet services that were suspended on Wednesday evening were restored on late Thursday.(KNO)
