Srinagar, December 16 (KNO) : Tehreek-e-Hurriyat Chairman Mohammad Ashraf Sehrai on Sunday appealed to the United Nation Secretary General Antonio Guterres to intervene and impress upon India to stop the killings of Kashmiris. In a statement, Sehrai said the protocol to use any crowd control weapons around the world is to aim at the legs to disperse the demonstrators. Is the Indian state and world community in particular including the UN happy to kill and blind a generation,” he asked. Sehrai said the protest against India’s rule over Kashmir is neither new nor surprising. “...in fact the resentment of broken promises and the brutality of the state’s response is equally familiar.”
