NC says many leaders approaching party, high command to take a final call

Srinagar, December 18 (KNO) : While as the top PDP leaders are set to join National Conference (NC) on Wednesday, the party sources on Tuesday divulged that several political party leaders are currently in touch with the NC and are likely join the party fold. Top NC sources divulged to KNO that several leaders are at present approaching the party high command and are mulling to join the NC. "The two PDP leaders including Peer Muhammad Hussain and Syed Basharat Bukhari will join NC on Wednesday morning in presence of the NC high command while as several others are likely to join the party fold soon," they said. They added that the proposal to join NC of many leaders has been rejected by the party high command while the discussion over the others is going on and are likely join the party soon. However, the PDP amid reports have expelled the PDP leaders including Peer Muhammad Hussain and Syed Basharat Bukhari. Earlier, several PDP leaders including former finance minister, Haseeb A Drabu, former minister, former minister Imran Raza Ansari, former MLA Zadibal Adib Ansari, former MLA Tangmarg Muhammad Abbas Wani and others resigned from the party.(KNO)
