Srinagar, December 19 (KNO) : Claiming the support of many doctors, Deputy Mayor Srinagar Municipal Corporation (SMC), Sheikh Imran who allegedly created controversy after ‘misbehaving’ with the doctors on Wednesday said that he visited the Chest Disease hospital to improvise the situation there. Addressing a news conference, Imran said that the negligence of doctors at the hospital has also led to the death of an elderly woman who whose beloved were crying for the help in the premises of the hospital. Tendering apology to the doctors, Dy Mayor said that “I want to seek forgiveness in case I have used any abusive language but I want to urge the doctors to don’t go for strike as it will only add to the miseries of the patients. He added he has not fired any public servant but has asked his man to write to Chief Secretary regarding the negligence of the doctors that left an ailing woman dead.(KNO)
