Bhaderwah, December 20 (KNO) : Showkat Ganai (60), Independent councillor representing ward No. 06 ( Havelli Mohalla ) of Municipal Committee Bhaderwah , died of heart attack at Sub District Hospital Bhaderwah here today. Reports reaching KNO that Showkat was elected as local body representative in the recently held ULB election.
He had received age of superannuation from Municipal Committee Bhaderwah as electrician last year. Reports said he complained of severe chest pain at home while taking dinner and after that shifted to SDH Bhaderwah for treatment where he died. His wife Nighat Chowdhary is presently District president of the PDP women wing.(KNO)
