Srinagar, December 22 (KNO) : Incarcerated chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF), Muhammad Yasin Malik on Saturday expressed his heartfelt grief over the demise of the mother of editor daily Uqab Manzoor Anjum who breathed her last yesterday.
According to a statement issued to KNO, Malik who is in police custody along with other JKLF leaders and activists including vice chairman Mushtaq Ajmal, Zonal Organizer Bashir Ahmad Kashmiri, Muhammad Hanif Dar, Imtiyaz Ahmad Dar, Imtiyaz Ahmad Ganie, Shakir Ahmad Ahangar, Fayaz Ahmad and Basharat Ahmad prayed for the heavenly abode of the deceased mother. He also prayed for the Sabri-I-Jamil of her bereaved family.
On the directions of JKLF chairman, a high-level delegation comprising Secretary General Engineer Ghulam Rasool Dar Eidi, Zonal vice president Muhammad Sideeq Shah and others visited the bereaved family and expressed solidarity with them. While paying for the heavenly abode of the departed soul, JKLF delegation also prayed for the Sabri-I-Jamil of her bereaved family.(KNO)
