JAMMU & KASHMIR After being removed, PDP leader resigns from basic membership | KNO Published 277 weeks ago on December 24, 2018 By KashmirNewsObserver Jammu, December 24 (KNO) : Soon after being removed as PDP’s General Secretary by the party, Sheikh Mehboob Iqbal on Monday resigned from the basic membership of the party. According to KNO correspondent, talking to media, Sheikh said that he has resigned from the basic membership of the party after he was removed from the post of General Secretary . He added that there is no fun to be in the party anymore after he was removed from the post. “There is nepotism in the party due to which the leaders are resigning,” he said, adding that soon he will join NC. He contested assembly elections from Bhaderwah constituency in the year 2014 and secured 17000 votes, largest percentage in whole Chenab Valley.
