Awantipora, December 26 (KNO) : Government forces have busted a militant hideout during cordon and search operation in Awantipora area of south Kashmir's Pulwama district on Wednesday morning. Official sources said that a hideout in karewas of Baderwan village of Awantipora area was busted during search operation launched in wee hours of Wednesday. Pertinently Baderwan village is close to Beighpora the native village of HM chief Riyaz Naikoo and Malangpora the native village of Dr Safiullah, the deputy chief of HM. Earlier search operation was launched by a joint party of the army including 55 RR, police and the CRPF following inputs about the presence of militants in the hideout. As per locals sources search operation is going on the in the area.(KNO)
