Militants attack Army patrolling party in Pulwama, vast area cordoned off | KNO

Pulwama, December 28 (KNO) : Militants on Friday morning fired upon a Army patrolling party of 55 RR in Renzipora area of Awantipora in South kashmir’s Pulwama district. Soon after militants opened fire, army retaliated and exchange of fire continued for few minutes, official sources said. As per initial reports to KNO that there was no report of any injury from either of the sides. Soon after the firing whole area has been cordoned off and search operation is going on. Pertinently Renzipora is the native area of HM commander Riyaz Naikoo and in same area two days before a hideout of HM top commander was busted by government forces.(KNO)
