Banihal, December 31 (KNO): Appealing masses in Chinab valley to support AIP in upcoming elections to preserve the unique identity and culture of the region and to make an end to politics of exploitation, AIP President Er Rasheed on Monday accused successive governments of ignoring the people of Muslim dominated areas of Jammu province. Addressing a public gathering in Banihal today, Er Rasheed as per a statement issued to KNO said, “While NC, PDP and Congress have been creating fear among Muslim dominated areas in Jammu region by talking about communal politics of BJP, Congress has been indulging itself in playing so called secular card but unfortunately all of them have added to the miseries and sacrificing of the Muslim community without doing any good to them.” “The voice of Muslim community in Jammu province goes often unheard for the lack of genuine leadership and whosoever has been voted does at the end stab them,” he said, adding that while BJP has taken the entire administration hostage and is consolidating its vote bank by dirty tricks, the genuine leadership of Muslim community is being deprived from reaching out to the people. He said the fact is that the entire Chinab valley has become like a vote making machine for NC, PDP and Congress and like east India Company for a certain class. “Various companies who have been authorized to execute much talked projects are in fact contributing nothing towards the issues which could have got some change in the entire neglected Chinab valley. BJP is shamelessly consolidating Hindu votes and other parties are dividing Muslim votes by trying to show false sympathies just to gain power and in the entire process the real issues get ignored,” he said. Er Rasheed said it is high time for the people of the state to support a plate form which doesn’t need approvals from New Delhi and Islamabad to speak for the people and their aspirations and AIP is the best option for the masses in the entire state to represent the people the way they deserve to be represented. He reiterated that seeking implementation of UN resolutions is not a crime and New Delhi should agree to resolutions of Kashmir dispute without further delay. He added that AIP has been demanding from day one separate divisions for Chinab and Pir Panchal regions and those who talk now about rights of people of Chinab and Pirpanchal regions deprived them when they were in power. On the occasion Najam-u-Saqib AIP Distt President Doda and Arif Waheed AIP District President Ramban while addressing the gathering expressed the hope that people of Chinab valley will support AIP in upcoming elections as it is only AIP which has been speaking and raising voice against atrocities on Jammu Muslim with sincerity on and often.(KNO)
