Forest deptt organises plantation drive at Bhaderwah | KNO

Bhaderwah, January 01 (KNO): The Chenab Circle Forest Division, Bhaderwah on Tuesday organized a plantation drive here on the eve of New Year at new Bus stand Kotli. During the drive, more than 100 high quality and healthy poly-saplings of different conifer species like Deodar, Kail and broad-leaved species like Chinar etc were planted. The plantation drive is a part of ambitious greening of Chenab Circle Project launched by Forest Department for improving the aesthetic beauty of Bhaderwah area. Accordion to KNO correspondent, on the occasion, an interaction programme was also held where lectures on forests and need for their conservation and protection was given by various speakers.(KNO)
