BJP starts constituting media teams for LS elections | KNO

Srinagar, January 04 (KNO): The state Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) held meeting with his team members from Doda, Udhampur and Billawar at Jammu to discuss the formation of Media Team in each assembly segment at the earliest. BJP State spokesperson Balbir Ram Rattan, who as per a statement issued to KNO has been designated as Media Incharge for Udhampur-Doda-Kathua Parliamentary Constituency for the forthcoming General elections presided over the meeting in which they shared information related to presence of print and electronic media in different parts of the said Parliamentary Constituency. Rattan during his discussions with Rahul Sharma (Doda), Gopal Krishan (Billawar) and Akhil Prashar (Udhampur) said that the party has decided to constitute Media teams at assembly constituency level like social media team, legal team and beneficiaries team and the party activists at the local level are to be bestowed with the responsibility of looking after a particular work. “This a part of the basic preparations of establishment of ground teams before the Lok Sabha elections,” the statement said. Balbir stressed upon his team members to identify atleast 2-3 activists of the party and associate them with the media team. He said that the role of media in this era is very important as it serves like a bridge between the public and the organization and a well equipped media team is need of the time. He said that the role of the media teams will be very hectic during the elections and hence any activist who is given the task of working in the media team should be free to devote maximum time for the next 4-5 months. The media team members assured to complete the basic ground task as assigned to them as soon as possible and put their best efforts in making the media teams most effective.(KNO)
