Sacrifice of Sajad Kenoo will never be forgotten: Malik | KNO

Srinagar, January 07 (KNO) : Chairman of Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) Muhammad Yasin Malik recalled the sacrifices of Sajad Ahmad Kenoo, saying that Kenoo was one of pioneers of present struggle for freedom. According to a statement issued to KNO, Malik addressing a memorial meeting said that “Martyrs like him are our real heroes and their sacrifices will never be forgotten.” Terming Sajad as ‘a humble person, dedicated warrior, prolific leader and a luminous human being’, Malik said that he was one of the faces of Kashmiri resistance who till his last breath stood upright for the cause of freedom and sacrificed his life while striving for it. “The sacrifices of heroes like Sajad Ahmad Kenoo can never be forgotten and today when we remember his sacrifices and struggle, we pledge to take his mission forward with passion and zeal,” he said. Meanwhile, Malik expressed his heartfelt grief and sorrow over the demise of prominent businessman Tariq Ahmad Bhat (Master Arts) who breathed his last few days before. Malik along with a delegation comprising of Zonal General Secretary Sheikh Abdul Rashid, Mushtaq Ahmad Dar, Ghulam Muhammad Dar and Tariq Ahmad visited the bereaved family at Rajbagh and expressed solidarity with them. While praying for the heavenly abode of the deceased, Malik also prayed for the Sabr-i-Jamil to his bereaved family.(KNO)
