Two passengers killed, driver injured in Banihal mishap | KNO

Srinagar, January 08 (KNO) : Two passengers were killed while another sustained injuries after a passenger vehicle they were travelling in met with an accident in Banihal area of Ramban district on Tuesday evening. Officials told KNO that said that a passenger vehicle bearing registration number JK02-0216 was on its way to Chapnari from Banihal when it skidded off the road and rolled down into a 100 ft gorge. They said that two passengers died on spot while the driver of the vehicles was injured. The deceased were identified as Mohammad Shafi Bhoru, 70 and Mohammad Shafi Lone, 60, both residents of Chapnari. The driver of the vehicle, identified as Arif Saleem, son of Muhammad Saleem, 22 was rushed to Sub-District Hospital Banihal for treatment, they said.(KNO)
