Srinagar, January 11 (KNO) : Three Army men including an officer were on Friday killed while three others sustained injuries on Line of Control in Rajouri district.
Sources told KNO that an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) explosion took place near LoC in Naushera Sector(J&K) in which an Army Officer and a soldier got grievously injured.
"Immediate resuscitation and medical aid was provided, however, they succumbed to the injuries," Army said.
Meanwhile, Army said that Pakistan violated the ceasefire, saying that in the incident by Pakistan troops in Sunderbani Sector, an Army Porter namely Hem Raj resident of Dadal Sunderbani was shot at and grievously injured.
“The injured porter was provided immediate resuscitation and medical aid, however, he later succumbed to the gunshot wounds," Army said. Army later promised all possible assistance to the family of slain Army Porter.(KNO)
