Pak will get befitting reply on each of ‘nefarious activity’: Lt Gen Ranbir Singh | KNO

Poncho, January 17 (KNO) : Indian army is one step ahead of Pakistan, Army commander, Lt Gen Ranbir Singh, who is General Officer Commanding in Chief, Northern Core of Indian Army, said on Thursday. While talking to media persons on the sidelines of inauguration of Kalai bridge at Poonch, Lt Gen Ranbir Singh said that “Indian Army is one step ahead of Pakistan’s and I am assuring everyone that befitting reply will be given to Pakistan on each of its nefarious activity.” According to KNO, he also said that “intercepts available with Indian Army clearly shows that Pakistan forces are receiving heavy losses in retaliation from our side.” Terming previous year 2018 as ‘remarkable’ for forces in Jammu and Kashmir, Army commander said that “maximum number of militants have been killed as compared to previous ten years.” He claimed that more than 250 militants have been killed, 54 caught alive and four have surrendered before forces in last year, which shows success rate of operations. Lt Gen Singh said that Pakistan is indulging in ceasefire violation since years with an aim to cover up the militants who are pushed towards this side from Pakistan.(KNO)
