7 days on, no arrests made over temple incident in Jammu | KNO

All accused are out of State: Police

Jammu, January 17 (KNO) : Seven days after the case against the BJP leader and others was registered in Police Station Nowabad in Jammu, all the accused in the case are roaming free with police saying that the accused in the case have left the State. Earlier, police on Jan 11 registered a case under FIR number 03/2019 under section 448/382/147/427 RPC of PS Nowabad Jammu against BJP leader and President Aditi Welfare India Charitable Trust Aditi Sharma and others on a complaint of Radhey Sham, son of Chandi Parshad of Uttra Khand A/P Pujari Shiv Mandir Tirth Nagar Talab Tillo Jammu. On the complaint of Mandir Pujari who alleged that Aditi Sharma along with Tirth Kumar, son of Des Raj of Tirath Nagar Talab Tillo Jammu, Neel Choudhary, Mulkh Raj and Dilip Singh were barged in the temple premises with vested interests, Police Post Talab Tillo Jammu has lodged a FIR against all the accused under relevant act. Nowabad SHO Neeraj Bhagat told KNO that since the FIR has been registered, they have conducted several raids in this context. “As per our sources, all the accused in the case have left the state on very much day. We are trying our best to arrest them all and if they (accused) don’t surrender before police, we will issue notifications to all accused,” he said.(KNO)
