Budgam gunfight: Two militants killed as third engages forces in firefight, operation ongoing |KNO

Budgam, January 20 (KNO) :  Two militants have been killed in the ongoing gunfight between them and government forces in Hapatnar area of Budgam District on Monday.   According to sources told to KNO two unidentified militants have been killed so far,  while as third militant is still engaging forces in firefight. According to officials gunfight is raging in Hapatnar Charsharief area of he district.   Officials said that forces were scanning the area  when hiding militants opened fire on forces leading to a gunfight. Sources in police told KNO that 02-03 militants belonging to Lashkar e toiba werr believed to be hiding in the area. "Once we have the bodies only then we can ascertain identities of the killed.  Let us retrieve bodies first," source said. Operation going on. (KNO)
