Kadfeen emphasizes Guv Admin to regularize services of Seasonal Volunteer Teachers | KNO

Srinagar, January 29 (KNO) : Congress leader Kadfeen Chowdhary on Tuesday expressed anguish over the maltreatment meted out to Seasonal Education Volunteer Teachers on the part of Govt, emphasizing the Governor Administration to regularize their services. According to a statement issued to KNO, Chowdhary while interacting with a delegation of Seasonal Education Volunteer Teachers in Srinagar, who were seeking regularization of the services since a long time, but nothing seems to have been done by the authorities concerned in this direction, He said Governor Administration must take effective measures to address the concerns of these teachers, as they have been rendering their best services on seasonal basis to the Education Department that too on a very meagre pay of Rs.4000 per month, which is not even sufficient to sustain a two member family. Kadfeen asked the Governor Administration to address the grievances of the seasonal teachers ensuring their permanent absorption in Government services. He also assured the (Teachers) that Congress party under the leadership of JKPCC President G A Mir will take effective measures to get their issue resolved, on priority basis.(KNO)
