CRPF personnel among six injured in Anantnag grenade attack | KNO

Anantnag, January 31 (KNO) : Six persons including paramilitary CRPF personnel were injured in a grenade attack in South Kashmir’s Anantnag Thursday. Sources told KNO that suspected militants hurled a grenade on Sherbagh Police Post which missed the target and exploded on the road. In the attack, five civilians including three women and a CRPF man suffered injuries in the attack. Injured persons were identified as Suhaiba of Anchidora, Narinder Kumar 96 Bn CRPF, Naza of Anchidora, Sofiya of Anchidora Irfaan of Lal chowk Anantnag and M Husain of Sofi Pora Anantnag. Soon after the attack, search operation to nab the attackers was launched in the area.(KNO)
