CS visits Pulwama, inspects Kahcharai, state land | KNO

Pulwama, January 31 (KNO) : Chief Secretary BVR Subrahmanyam on Thursday visited Chandgam and Nawnagri areas of Pulwama district and inspected Kahcharai and State land available there. District Development Commissioner (DDC) Pulwama, Ghulam Mohammad Dar and District Development Commissioner Srinagar Syed Abid Rashid accompanied the Chief Secretary during the visit. DDC Pulwama informed the Chief Secretary that there are around 800 kanals of Kahcharai and state land at Chandgam and 700 Kanals at Nawnagri. He said steps have been already taken by the Revenue Department for the protection of such land. On the occasion, Chief Secretary said that a huge chunk of the land can be used for the construction of important developmental projects including IIM off-campus and other Technical Institutions. SSP Pulwama Chandan Koheli and other officials were also present on the occasion.(KNO)
