JKDFP remembers Wamiq Farooq, others | KNO

Srinagar, February 01 (KNO) : Jammu Kashmir Democratic Freedom Party (JKDFP) on Friday paid tributes to Wamiq Farooq on his ninth anniversary. The JKDFP spokesperson while remembering all the slain of Kashmir, in a statement issued to KNO said that “the ongoing freedom movement is becoming more precious after each martyrdom of our brave hearts.” “These martyrs also include those unarmed youth who were martyred mercilessly by the Indian forces or their local collaborators. These martyrs include Wamiq Farooq who was martyred by the men in uniform in old Srinagar area,” he said. The party also paid tributes to Shahid Mushtaq Baba, son of Mushtaq Ahmed Baba of Drabgam Pulwama and Inayat Abdullah, son of Mohammad Abdullah of Arihal Pulwama, who were killed in Drubgam, Pulwama by forces during a gunfight. It also expressed solidarity with the said martyr’s families and assured them that the sacrifices of martyrs will be safeguarded at any cost. Meanwhile, the JKDFP expressed condolence with Tehreek-e-Muzahamat leader Shabir Zargar on passing away of his mother. The Spokesperson prayed for the forgiveness of the deceased and patience of the bereaved including Shabir Zargar.(KNO)
