Forces launch search operation in Chitragam Shopian | KNO

Shopian, February 04 (KNO) : Government forces on Monday evening launched Cordon and Search Operation (CASO) in Chitragam village of South Kashmir's Shopian district. Sources told KNO that large number of forces have been deployed there in Malik pora of Chitragam tehsil and door to door search operation is going on.Forces have sealed all exit and entry points of the area, they said The operation has been jointly launched by Ist RR, CRPF and police Zainapora, they said, adding that operation was launched after receiving inputs about the presence of militants in the village.(KNO)
