"General Administration Department is deliberately delaying the files," Mir said, adding that chief secretary had that time agreed in principle to the demands of the employees and promised that the they will be addressed in a time bound manner within 15 days last December. The protesting employees said that they had pinned hope in Chief Secretary BVR Subrahmanyam, but some middle rung officers are playing mischief. "We again appeal to the Prime Minister to seek report from state government," they told KNO. Work in the offices was badly hit due to strike in the secretariat. (KNO)
