Poonch Loran, Saujiyan roads close for traffic | KNO

Poonch, February 07 ( KNO) : Following heavy snowfall in the intervening night, vehicular traffic on Saujiyan as well as Loran roads of Poonch has got suspended. Details with KNO revealed that road from Poonch Mandi to Saujiyan is closed for traffic due to last night's heavy snowfall with snow level on the road above one and a half feet neat Khet and Saujiyan pass. Similarly, road from Poonch Mandi to Loran also got closed for traffic due to heavy snowfall last night. Due to snowfall, both these areas are cut off from both Mandi tehsil headquarter and Poonch district headquarter. Power supply is also badly affected in many areas of Saujiyan and Loran.. " Traffic is suspended on both Loran and Mandi roads and restoration of same depends upon fair weather conditions" a traffic police officer told KNO
