Demise of Mufti Azam ‘my personal loss’: Jailed Shah | KNO

Srinagar, February 13 (KNO) : Incarcerated chairman of Jammu Kashmir Democratic Freedom Party (JKDFP), Shabir Shah on Wednesday expressed deep shock and grief over the passing away of Mufti Azam Mufti Bashir ul Din Ahmad Farooqi. Shabir Shah has termed the passing away of Mufti Azam as a huge loss. According to a statement issued to KNO, Shah in his condolence message from Tihar jail, Delhi where he has been imprisoned on fake allegations, said that Mufti Azam Mufti Bashir ul Din worked for unity among Muslims throughout his life. Shah said that Mufti Azam Mufti Bashir ul Din will always be remembered for positive role he played in social and religious fields. He expressed solidarity with the bereaved and prayed for the departed soul. He said that late Mufti Azam was very close to him and his passing away is his personal loss.(KNO)
