Amid tears, sobs, thousands participate in last rites of slain JeM militant | KNO

Pulwama, February 19 (KNO) : Thousands of people attended funeral prayers of slain Jaish-e-Mohammad militant Hilal Ahmad Naiko in Pingleena village of Pulwama who was killed yesterday in a 17-hour-long gunfight with government forces. Slain Hilal along with his two Pakistani associates was killed yesterday in a gunfight in Pingleena area of Pulwama. According to eyewitnesses, thousands of people including women and children participated in his funeral prayers. People were seen chanting pro-Jaish and pro-Zakir Musa slogans . Eyewitnesses told KNO that people from different localities of Pulwama were seen rushing towards the native village of slain Hilal . Earlier on Monday, three militants including operational commander of Jaish-e-Mohammad, five security personnel and one civilian were killed in a 17-hour-long gun-battle.(KNO)
