Role played by Admin, police in Jammu condemnable: Trade bodies | KNO

Srinagar, February 19 (KNO) : The Valley trade bodies including Kashmir Traders Manufacturing Federation (KTMF), Kashmir Economic Alliance (KEA) and Federation of Chambers of Industries Kashmir (FCIK) Tuesday condemned the role of State Administration and police for failing to stop the attacks on Kashmiris outside the Valley. Addressing a press conference here at a local hotel, president of KTMF, Muhammad Yasin Khan said the trade body will meet to decide future course of action with the trade bodies and Jammu trade body has failed to play its role to put a halt to the attacks on Kashmiris. According to KNO correspondent, he said Kashmir is a political issue and must be dealt with politically so that the people of Kashmir who have been sufferings since long would heave a sigh of relief. Khan who was accompanied by KEA and FCIK leaders added that the government must ensure the safety of Kashmiris. He also said they met with Deputy Commissioner (DC) Srinagar yesterday wherein the DC and the trade bodies held discussion over maintaining peace in Srinagar.(KNO)
