Srinagar, February 24 (KNO) : To pay homage and respect to martyr DySP Aman Kumar son of Swami Raj resident of Gogla district Doda, who attained martyrdom today while fighting militants at Turigam district Kulgam, a wreath laying ceremony was held for the martyr at District Police Lines, Srinagar.
Civil & Police Officers led by DGP J&K Police Shri Dilbagh Singh-IPS, IGP Ops CRPF Shri Zulfikar Hassan-IPS, Div Com Kashmir Shri Baseer Ahmad Khan, IGP Kashmir Shri S. P. Pani, IG CRPF Shri Ravideep Sahai, Range DIsG, DC Srinagar Shri Shahid Iqbal Chowdhary laid floral wreaths on the mortal remains & paid rich tributes to the martyr for his supreme sacrifice made in the line of duty.
Among others who paid floral tributes to the martyr include senior officers of CAPF, SSP Srinagar Shri Haseeb Mughal, SSP Security Shri Imtiyaz Hussain, SSP SBK Shri Showket Hussain Shah, SP Ganderbal Shri Khalil Poswal, SSP Anti-high-jacking Srinagar Shri Harmeet Singh, other officers and jawans of the district police and other forces.
Martyr DySP Aman Kumar is survived by aged parents, wife Sarla Devi and 6 year old son Arya.(KNO)
