JKLF’s Vice Chief Showkat Bakhshi detained | KNO

Srinagar, February 27 (KNO) : Vice chairman JKLF Showkat Ahmad Bakshi has been arrested by police and shifted to police station Kothibagh, a spokesman said on Wednesday. Pertinently, JKLF chairman Muhammad Yasin Malik is also languishing in police custody from 22 February 2019 while as district presidents Ganderbal and Budgam Bashir Ahmad Rather Boya and Gulzar Ahmad Pahalwan, senior member Mushtaq Ahmad Korag and many others are also in police custody police from last many days. Police has conducted raids on many others houses including JKLF senior Mushtaq Ahmad Khan. In a statement issued to KNO, JKLF spokesman condemned arrests and raids by police. Meanwhile, Malik expressed his grief over the demise of Khawaja Habibullah Indrabi who passed away recently. The deceased was the brother of a well-wisher Nazir Ahmad Indrabi. Terming the passing away of Habibullah Indrabi as a personal loss, Malik prayed for his heavenly abode. While expressing condolences to his bereaved family including his brother Nazir Ahmad Indrabi Sahib, JKLF incarcerated chairman also prayed for their Sabr-i-Jamil.(KNO)
