Injured undergoing tests, stable, say SMHS officials

Srinagar, February 28 (KNO): A civilian was on Thursday allegedly beaten ruthlessly by the government forces near Eidgah Srinagar, locals alleged. Locals while talking to KNO alleged that a man identified as Mushtaq Ahmad Wangnoo, 40, son of Sonaulla of Ganderpora Eidgah, a shopkeeper was beaten ruthlessly by the government forces near Eidgah today during which he has sustained critical injuries. They said the injured was immediately rushed to SMHS hospital where he is undergoing treatment, adding that Mushtaq was beaten after the clashes between youth and forces in the area. Officials in SMHS hospital told KNO that the injured man was received by them today and was undergoing various tests and is stable.(KNO)
