Tral Encounter : One militant killed, ops on | KNO

Tral, March 05 (KNO) :One militant has been killed in an ongoing encounter in Reshie Mohandas of Tral area of South kashmir's Pulwama. An official confirmed KNO that one militant has been killed and exchange of fire is on. One more militant is believed to be trapped, he said. Earlier after nine hours of searching forces managed to establish contact with hiding militant and the house in which militants were hiding has been blasted. After blasting the house there was no firing for about one hour however firing has resumed again, local sources said. Earlier after receiving specific inputs about the presence of militants, forces including 42 RR, 180 Bn CRPF and SOG of Jammu and kashmir Police launched search operation in the area. After searching for more than 9 hours and intensifying the search, towards the suspected house the hiding militants opened fire which was retaliated triggered encounter.(KNO)
