One killed, four family members injured in Rajouri mishap | KNO

Rajouri, March 18 (KNO): A man was killed on Monday while four other members of the family sustained injuries after the vehicle they were travelling in collided with a truck at Tandwal Rajouri on Jammu - Poonch highway. Police officials told KNO that accident occurred at Tandwal near Rajouri town when collision took place between truck JK02AP-6225 and Breeza car bearing registration number JK12A-6789. Truck loaded with fresh vegetables was on way to Poonch from Jammu while car was coming from opposite direction and collided on main highway at about 06 PM. Five family members travelling in the car sustained injuries and were shifted to hospital where one among them identified as Ramesh Chander was declared brought dead. Injured family members were identified as Naresh Kumari of Doongas Poonch, Geeta Devi wife of Vinod Kumar resident of Surankote, Anita Devi wife of Ramesh Chander resident of Surankote and Rahul Kumar son of Ramesh Chander resident of Surankote. All the injured women have been referred to GMCH Jammu while police have registered case in this regard.(KNO)
