Army pays tributes to its slain Rifleman | KNO

Jammu, March 18 (KNO): Army on Monday paid tributes to its slain Rifleman who was killed along Line of Control on Monday Defense spokesman in a statement issued to KNO said Pakistan Army resorted to unprovoked firing on own post in Sunderbani sector on the line of control (Loc) in the incident, Rifleman Karamjeet Singh was critically injured and later succumbed to his injuries. "Rifleman Karamjeet Singh aged 24 Years, belonged to village Janer,Tehsil Dharamkot, District Moga and is survived by his parents. Rifleman Karamjeet Singh was a brave and sincere soldier," spokesman said. "The nation will always remain indebted to him for the supreme sacrifice and devotion to duty. GOC and all ranks of Crossed Swords Division salute the brave heart and offer deepest condolences to his family," the statement added.(KNO)
