Srinagar, March 19 (KNO) : The former Indian Administrative Service (IAS) topper-turned politicians, Shah Faisal has played the National Conference (NC) patriarch Sheikh Muhammad Abdullah at the jogger’s park where he launched his political debut in the form of launch of his party—Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Movement. Before starting his speech, he recited Quranic verses—Surah Asr reminding elderly present in the gathering of the political speeches of Sheikh Abdullah, who would first start with the Quranic verses and then make his political speech. Shah’s rallies are reminiscent and they remind the NC founder Sheikh’s rallies. On February 4, similar slogans that once were raised during the Sheikh’s rallies by staunch NC workers, reverberated in Faisal’s rally in Kupwara. The slogans that were being raised during Sheikh Abdullah’s tenure like ‘Yee Karri Tee Karri Bab Karri Lo Lo’ were raised by the supporters of record maker IAS topper, Shah Faesal in his maiden public meeting in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district. Thousands of supporters of Faesal who gathered in a ground to hear record maker IAS topper’s speech on Feb 04, 2019 raised slogans like ‘Yee Karri Tee Karri Faesal Karri Lo Lo’. Such slogans are sort of expression of support and a hope on Faesal. These slogans reverberated after decades when Sheikh Abdullah was rallying during which people used to chant slogans like ‘Yee Karri Tee Bab karri Lo Lo’.(KNO)
