Sources told KNO that the injured persons were being carried on shoulders during encounter to rush them to the hospital for treatment. Intense clashes broke out in the village soon after the search was launched by the forces following credible inputs about the presence of militants there. The youth hit the streets and pelted government forces with stones, which was retaliated by using pellet firing and tear gas canisters, during which two civilians sustained injuries.
