Srinagar, March 29 (KNO): Commenting on the continued and unabated killing spree, Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) said that India has set new heights of ‘State terrorism’ in Jammu Kashmir against the people of the State who in pursuance of just movement of national liberation struggle are being targeted by forces. Party spokesman, Muhammad Rafiq Dar as per a statement issued to KNO, said that “India should read the writing on the wall that people of the State are not going to compromise until they achieve freedom for which they are rendering unflinching sacrifices.” “The Kashmiri nation in general and the party members of JKLF in particular are not going to surrender their right of self-determination,” he said, appealing international community to come forward to save human lives in Jammu Kashmir by resolving the Kashmir issue. On behalf of the party leadership, Rafiq Dar expressed grief and sorrow over the sad demise of younger sister of party acting chairman Abdul Hameed Butt, who breathed her last on Wednesday after brief illness. He prayed for her soul rest in peace and tolerance to her family relatives including Mr. Butt. Meanwhile, in continuation of protests by JKLF against India on banning the party and slapping PSA to Chairman Muhammad Yasin Malik, a token protest was held in Mirpur, AJK. The protest was led by party dy. Secretary general Sajid Siddiqi, Zonal President Dr. Toqeer Gilani, member supreme council Kh. Parvez Iqbal and district president Saad Ansari Adv. It was attended by scores of party leaders, members and students.(KNO)
