Srinagar, March 30 (KNO) : A 36 Year old lady breathed her last on March 27 and the family of the deceased are blaming Ahmad Hospital of ‘killing her’ while as hospital administration claimed that 'it was cardiac arrest' that led to her death.  The lady Saima Majeed was a resident of  Rawalpora Srinagar and was admitted in the private hospital on March 26. "She had Uterus issues and was admitted for the same under MRD number 1405." Cousin brother of Saima, Mansoor Shayir told KNO that the doctors claimed that she was a cancer patient. "Family sought details and file of the patient regarding the claims of doctors. Hospital failed to provide same," he said, while accusing of mintin money from gullible masses in the name of 'medical care'.  “The hospital administration has failed to provide any kind of document that can reveal that the deceased patient was suffering from cancer or any cardiac disease as claimed by the doctors," he said.  Touseef Ahmad, an official of the hospital said that the patient was operated upon by Dr Ashraf Qazi, in the hospital following which she was recovering.“In the meantime, the patient fell unconscious and was referred to SMHS hospital,” he said. The official said after post operative procedure she had to be referred to ward and while shifting her, the lady asked to let her sit. “She had a stroke, probably, to SMHS and while on the way she collapsed,” he said.(KNO)
