Lassipora Encounter : Four militants killed, 3 army man injured search on | KNO

Pulwama, April 01 (KNO) : Four militants have been killed and three army man have been injured in an encounter that raged between government forces and militants in Lassipora area of Pulwama on Monday morning. An official confirmed to KNO that four militants have been killed whose identification is being ascertained. Sources told KNO that that one among the four militants is said to be top commander of LET.Earlier gunfight broke out in Lassipora area after forces including 44 RR, CRPF and SOG Lassipora received specific inputs about the presence of militants in the area. On intensifying the operation towards the suspected spot hiding militants fired upon government forces which was retaliated triggered gunfight. Meanwhile in wake of the gunfight authorities have snapped internet services in Pulwama and Shopian districts.(KNO)
