Kupwara, April 04 (KNO) : Former law Minster and MLA Lolab Advocate Abdul Haq Khan on Thursday said that it was the killing of top Hizb-ul-Mujahideen commander Burhan Wani that led PDP failing to deliver upto expectations. "Burhan's killing led to prolong shutdowns, protests and clashes across the valley due to tense situation nothing went normal those days in valley," Khan said, promising that if PDP is voted to power again they will work for the welfare of people on priority bases. According to KNO correspondent, criticising government on its announcements of barring people from movement on highway for two days a week said that Government should not have issued any such plan. “All the problems and hardships faced by people are because of National Conference, it is they who introduced Public Safety Act and now they're claiming to eliminate the safety act," Khan said. He said that it was NC that agreed to accord in 1975 for the sake of power and now to gain vote they're claiming to bring back, Sadr e Riyasat and president. “We believe that it's only PDP that can safeguard the dignity and cater the interests of people at priority bases," Khan said. Khan said it was NC who had given clearance to NIA to operate in Valley. “I have served as law Minster but, NIA was already permitted by National Conference during their collation government to enter the valley and perform what they’re doing, PDP has no role in bring NIA to valley,” he said.(KNO)
