TeH leader booked under PSA, shifted to Kupwara jail | KNO

Bandipora, April 05 (KNO): Tehreek-e-Hurriyat Tehsil President Bandipora, Sheikh Danish was on Friday booked under Public Safety Act (PSA) and was shifted to district jail Kupwara. An official told KNO that Sheikh Danish, resident of Aloosa Bandipora was arrested by police on March 16 in Pattan area and was kept under detention in police station Bandipora on various charge. A senior police officer confirmed it and said that Danish has booked under PSA for allegedly disrupting the "law and order". He was later shifted to district jail Kupwara. Earlier last month, two persons including Jamaat-e-Islami district President Hafiz Mohammad Sikander also booked under PSA in Bandipora area of the same district. (KNO)
