Kulgam, April 10 (KNO): A youth from Khudwani area of South Kashmir’s Kulgam district has gone missing along with his vehicle on Tuesday and there are no whereabouts of him since then.

Reports reaching to KNO said that Aarif Ahmad Dar, son of Sanaullah Dar had left his home on Tuesday and had told his family that he is going to Mulga to repair his vehicle. “Yesterday, he called his mother and said that he is repairing his vehicle at one of the workshop and he is coming home soon but he didn't return, said his family members. Later, the family has tried to call him again but his mobile is constantly found switched off since then, they said.

“We contacted all our relatives and his friends but nobody gave us any info about him,” they added. “We are in fear that vehicle bearing registration number JK03A-5012 and our son may be used for attack somewhere on the highway,” Sanaullah Dar, Aarif's father feared.

The family has also submitted a missing report with the local police station Wanpoh in this regard. Family members urged all the organisations that allow him to return home on humanitarian basis if he is with them. A police officer told KNO that a missing report has been received from the family and investigations have taken up.(KNO)
