28-yr-old Hajin youth goes missing, family appeals son to return home | KNO

Hajin, April 13 (KNO) : Family members of 28-year-old youth, who has gone missing from April 08, have urged their son to return home and appealed government to help them in tracing him.

Reports reaching KNO said that Mohammad Akbar Dar, son of Gulam Qadir Dar a resident of Parr Mohalla Hajin area of Bandipora has been missing since April 08 when he left his home for regular work.

“However, after routine work, he didn’t return to his home.” Family sources said that Akbar went out of the house to do some work and his phone was switched off for a long time, so from that day he did not return home.

Family however said that they tried to locate him everywhere but couldn’t find any clue about his whereabouts despite lodging a missing report in Hajin Police station. A senior police officer told KNO that they have received a missing complaint and a report has been lodged in the concern police station.

Speaking to KNO, Senior Superintendent of Police Bandipora Rahul Malik, said, “We are investigating the matter and search has been launched to trace the missing youth. We also request people to tell us if they know something about Akbar." (KNO)
