Man arrested with revolver, live cartridges at Gandhinagar | KNO

Jammu, May 15 (KNO) : Gandhi Nagar police station on Wednesday arrested a person along with a pistol and ammunition, police said. "A police party from PS Gandhi Nagar led by SHO, Insp Sunil Jasrotia assisted by SI Sandeep Bhagat, I/C PP Digiana, while on naka checking at Digiana Pulli stopped a pedestrian for checking who was trying to evade the police party today, " police said as per a statement issued to KNO. Police identified him as Anil Sharma alias Kali, S/o Durga Dass, R/o H. No. 100, Bhagwati Nagar Jammu. On checking, one revolver along with 02 live cartridges was recovered from his possession, police said. In relation to this, FIR No. 123/2019 U/S 3/25 Arms Act has been registered at PS Gandhinagar, police added.(KNO)
