Pulwama, May 16 (KNO) : Predawn gunfight rages between militants and government forces in Dalipora area of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Thursday Reports reaching to KNO that a joint team of forces including army’s 55 RR and SoG Pulwama cordoned off Dalipora after having credible input about presence of some militants in the area. As the joint team of forces intensified searches towards suspected spot the hiding militants fired upon government forces triggering an encounter. A senior Police official confirmed that some exchange of firing has taken place between militants and government forces. As per locals, heavy firing is going on. As per sources two to three militants are believed to be trapped.(KNO)
