Skeleton found in Hengnikoote vilgam woods, forensic teams investigating | KNO

Kupwara, May 21 (KNO) : Police on Tuesday dispatched a team of the experts including of forensic department to Hengnikoote Vilgam woods following recovery of a skeleton there on Tuesday. Official said that Handwara police received information that a skeleton has been spotted deep inside the woods, following which police formed a team to visit the spot. SDPO Handwara Tariq Mahmood told KNO that they have dispatched a team of experts to the spot of which they were informed. "Team comprising of, Forensic Team, Doctor and officials from police are on the spot and all the relevant things will be collected by them," Mahmood said. He added that it will be too early to say anything about the identity of the deceased. “Investigation is underway," he said. He however, urged people not to fall for fake pictures being circulated on social media platforms including on WhatsApp.(KNO)
