No trace of two PDD employees who drowned in Dardekote Nallah Uri, Searches On | KNO

Baramulla May 22 (KNO) : There was no trace of two Power Department Development employees who drowned in 500 feet long Jehlum Nallah in Daderkote area of Uri North Kashmir Baramulla district on May 20. However an official told KNO that administration along with JK Police, SDRF and locals on Wednesday started rescue operation in the area. He said an Alto 800 Car was reduced during operation whereas bodies are yet to be traced. It is Pertinent to mentioned here that on May 20 Altoo 800 Car fell into 500 meters long Jehlum at Daderkote area of Uri North Kashmir Baramulla district in a Car. "Two persons were travelling in car on way from Uroosa towards sultandaki. When they reached near shudwani area Dard kote of uri sub division, the driver lost his control vehicle skid off from the road and rolled down into deep gorge approximately 500 feet long Jehlum Nallah," an official told KNO. He said locals reached the spot and start rescue operation. "Two employees of Power Development Department are still missing," he told KNO. The missing employees were identified as Sayeed Ahmed from Sultandhaki and Maroof Khan from Kalgai Uri.
